A collaboration between client and cabinetmaker, this kitchen creates a bold statement whilst retaining its functionality.
Tones of black and gold throughout the house are prevalent. Solid oak strips are laminated on to the island panels in a large scale, with the same detail replicated on the vanities in a smaller fashion.
The oak was all wire brushed to enhance the natural beauty of the grain and add texture to the kitchen.
Bench tops were all fabricated from “Patagonia”, a natural quartzite, and installed by Italian Stone.
A hidden scullery behind a large cavity sliding door opens up to a large walk in pantry area with secondary work benches, sink and cooking appliances.
The vanities exuded luxury with the brushed brass tapware and crystal like basins for a touch of extra opulence. Drawers laminated in solid oak battens, using Blum soft-close running system.
