Part of a full-house fitout by Ponting Fitzgerald Architects, this space was designed with entertaining in mind. At its heart, a large-scale island boasts an expansive work surface with striking waterfall ends.

The back wall seamlessly complements the island, featuring a benchtop and splashback crafted from "Superwhite"—a natural quartzite that combines the durability of granite with the refined aesthetic of marble.

The cabinetry is finished in oak veneer with solid timber edging, then painted crisp white. To enhance the wood’s natural texture, the veneer was wire-brushed before painting, adding depth and character to the final finish.
