This project had an open brief; the client wanted Form Design to plan, design, build, ship and install any elements that they wanted for this island residence. It incorporated the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedrooms and shelving display units.
The kitchen featured a massive Corian benchtop with American white oak cupboards and storage shelves underneath. The rangehood was integrated into a unit with solid timber batten profiling. A glass splashback can be seen beneath.
Multiple shelving units fill cavities in the residence and they all tie through to the dark stained American white oak of the kitchen.
Installation was undertaken in 10 days and it was imperative that Form Design had with them everything they needed to fix any problems that could possibly eventuate. Materials were chosen to suit the tropical climate and in some cases were chosen to suit the shipping process.
