Due to the size, space and design, this kitchen needed to be completed with perfection and precision.
Before manufacturing, Form Design created a template of the cabinetry to ensure all roof angles and pitches were taken into consideration.
Once measurements were exact and all potential issues allowed for, materials were ordered: Tasmanian ash for the solid timber framing; linen-finish stainless steel for the island benchtop; aluminium-framed black-frosted glass for the cupboard and drawer fronts.
Due to the nature of the linen-finish stainless steel and the construction of the main kitchen island, absolute attention to detail was required to create a perfectly straight 10mm border. Incorporated into the main island was a bar fridge and two ovens.
Behind the main island lies a scullery with all the same high quality finishings. Built around the external facing window, the cabinetry hides all evidence of its fixings.
Getting what seems like the simple things right has a big impact on the overall feeling.
