The top of this distinguished Omaha residence, once destined to be an artist’s studio, was repurposed by Ponting Fitzgerald to become a master bedroom.
Form Design custom made and installed the main wardrobe, shelving, TV riser unit at the foot of the master bed, along with the bathroom cabinetry and benchtop.
Simple though it looks, this job required precision. Form Design worked closely with the glaziers to make sure the finish between the glass and the cabinetry was perfect. The glass enclosing the ensuite needed channels in the wardrobe cabinetry and was further challenged due to the sloping ceiling.
The wardrobe cabinetry was finished in Metalier, a metal paint and required investigation and testing by Form Design to find the best sealing solution.
Behind the bed, a massive 4m unit was custom built firstly to cover an ugly bulkhead but also to provide more shelving. It is made in oak veneer with solid timber facings finished in a black-out stain.
