By custom building and installing full-length floor-to-ceiling wardrobe and shelving units, this Coatesville residence gained a sense of old school charm.

With meticulous planning these elements now appear as part of the house, as if they’ve always been there. They were custom built to fit exactly and perfectly, with only a millimeter of tolerance between unit and ceiling.

Careful consideration had to be paid when removing the carpeted area beneath the wardrobe feet to ensure there was no damage to the electrical wiring leading to the underfloor heating pads.

Finished with colour changing LED strip lights, either practical or visual, these units are constructed of MDF with a polyurethane coating. The bed frames, also custom built, are solid radiata pine, painted and fitted with industrial-looking castor wheels to allow freedom of placement in the room.
